Under An Arctic Sky

I chose to focus my project around a documentary following six surfers who set sail along the frozen shores of Iceland, enduring constant darkness and stormy seas, all in hope of surfing waves under the Northern Lights.

Solution One

For the first outcome, I wanted to create a ‘poster’ style piece of communication design that would help advertise for their documentary. I used a surf board as my canvas as I wanted to create a memorable piece of design that would be eye catching and also hints at their story acting as a trailer.
